Program Manager (NASA/AWASS)

Job Type Full-timeDescriptionGrey Street Consulting, LLC (Grey Street) seeks to engage a Program Manager who possesses a minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing and leading professional acquisition and contract support services requirements for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the U.
S.
Department of Defense (DoD), and/or other Federal agencies.
This is a full time, 40 hours per week position.
Work will be primarily performed offsite/remotely but will require occasional travel for client and employee meetings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring that contract deliverables are performed successfully and in accordance with (IAW) contract requirements and Grey Street standards.
Ensure task orders are fully staffed.
Initiating and setting goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships with the Contracting Officer (CO) and other government stakeholders including the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), agency and center leadership, and various procurement officials through frequent telephonic, email, and in person client communication.
Stay current on and address employee performance, attendance, training, development needs and issues.
Preparing/submitting regular and ad hoc status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Reports include assigned staff performance, accomplishments, burn rate analysis, etc.
Managing employee performance by maintaining telephonic, email and in person contact with employees on assigned contracts/projects.
This includes:
Ensuring employees understand and meet client work delivery expectations; Ensuring employees receive proper training and development necessary to perform their work; Counseling and/or coaching employees on variety of issues including performance expectations and attendance issues; and, Conducting employee performance evaluations.
Utilizing automated systems and inhouse tools to track employee caseload data.
Monitoring and approving employee timesheets.
Contributing to the recruitment of new and replacement employees.
This includes:
Screening and interviewing candidates for employment; Arranging candidate meetings with clients; Coordinating new employee clearance processing; and, Coordinating new hire corporate orientation and onboarding.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field desired.
8 years or more of prior federal experience leading projects and programs of a similar nature for NASA, DoD and/or other Federal agencies.
Knowledge of the Federal procurement cycle.
Supervisory/project management experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional ability to work collaborative in a team environment.
Effective communication skills including excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
